Doreen Casuto, RN, MRA, CRRN, CCM, CLCP
Doreen has 37 years of experience in the field of Rehabilitation Nursing. She has been involved in the practice of rehabilitation nursing, lecturing throughout the country, publishing articles and she appears in books . She has worked in rehabilitation centers, in hospitals, home health agencies and other community organizations as a staff nurse, liaison nurse, educator and administrator. During the past eighteen years, she has been in private practice as an independent rehabilitation nurse case manager for insurance companies, a national managed care company, the courts, fiduciaries, and private individuals. She has also served as a rehabilitation consultant and expert providing life care planning and medical case management services for catastrophically injured children and adults.
Renee Swain, RN, CCM
Renee is a registered nurse with over 31 years nursing experience. She worked on an orthopedic/neurology unit for fifteen years. Renee has a variety of experiences in case management including life care planning and employment with private health insurances and workers’ compensation companies. She has worked with children and adults with catastrophic injuries, disabilities and chronic illnesses. She also has experience with Special Needs Trusts.
Diane Ward, RN, CRRN
Diane is a certified rehabilitation nurse with over 24 years of clinical experience. Currently she works on an acute rehabilitation and sub acute unit providing the continuum of nursing care for clients in an acute and outpatient community setting. She is experienced in working with clients who have sustained spinal cord injuries, orthopedic, medical/surgical and neurological disabilities and has been working with RCC since the company opened, focusing on care planning for disabled children and adults state or nationwide.
Janet McArthur, LVN
Janet is a Licensed Vocational Nurse and has 34 years of experience in clinical settings including patient care and administration in San Diego. She has experience in Primary Care, Ear Nose and Throat, facial plastic surgery and obstetrics/gynecology. Her varied experience includes the administrative side of health care which assists in obtaining services for care planning and case management clients.
Haydee Piña, BA
Haydee has over 22 years of experience in the medical industry in physician offices, with insurance companies and in human resources. Her ability as a translator and liaison between Spanish speaking clients, their families and the medical community has been an asset in ensuring that they receive needed and appropriate care. She has extensive knowledge regarding state and federal benefits and assists clients in their application for disability, medicare and health insurance benefits. Her knowledge and experience working with case managers, fiduciaries and conservators has enabled clients to communicate their needs more effectively with their trust officers, fiduciaries and attorneys.
